Our client is looking for an HR Generalist to support their Human Resources team. This role focuses on recruitment, HR operations, policy compliance, HRIS management, and time & attendance administration.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offer preparation.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and recruitment strategies.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and prepare hiring reports.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, and related documentation.
- Maintain employee personnel files and HR records.
- Respond to employee inquiries about HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in implementing and administering HR policies and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
- Maintain and update employee information in the HRIS system.
- Administer the company’s time and attendance system and support payroll preparation.
- Assist with HR projects, training coordination, and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of HR experience.
- Experience with full-cycle recruitment and HR administration.
- Experience with HRIS and time & attendance systems.
- Knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and HR compliance.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
- CHRP designation or progress toward certification an asset.
- Experience in a manufacturing or cosmetics environment an asset.
