Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our aquatic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching swimming skills and a love for helping others develop confidence and safety in the water. Duties
- Conduct swimming lessons for children, teens, and adults, tailored to individual skill levels and learning goals
- Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety practices
- Develop lesson plans that promote skill development, confidence, and enjoyment of swimming
- Monitor students during lessons to ensure safety and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain a clean and organized pool area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed
- Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement
- Assist with water safety education programs and community outreach events as needed
Experience
- Prior experience teaching swimming or working with individuals in aquatic settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to demonstrate techniques confidently
- Teaching experience or certification in swim instruction is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate learners of all ages
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
