Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Window Cleaner to join our growing team. This is a physically active, outdoor job that's perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality work, and isn't afraid of heights.
This is a full-time position with pick-up to drop-off hours, meaning you're paid from the time you're picked up until you're dropped off at the end of the workday. Our work primarily includes residential window cleaning, with some commercial projects, as well as gutter cleaning and occasional pressure washing. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, ensuring that all glass surfaces are spotless and well-maintained. The position offers opportunities for growth within the cleaning and facilities management industry, emphasizing professionalism and quality service.
Responsibilities
- Clean windows of various sizes using hand tools, squeegees, and power tools as needed
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks related to window cleaning, including removing dirt, grime, and streaks for a clear finish
- Use commercial cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure high-quality results
- Safely operate ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment to access hard-to-reach areas
- Assist with custodial duties such as dusting, wiping surfaces, and general cleaning around work sites
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Communicate professionally with clients to address specific cleaning needs or concerns
- Heavy lifting of equipment or supplies may be required; proper safety procedures must be followed at all times
Qualifications
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
- Experience with ladders or in similar industries (construction, roofing, painting, landscaping, pressure washing, etc.) is preferred
- Previous window cleaning experience is an asset but not required—we provide training
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour throughout the day
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license is an asset but not required
