Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and residential painting, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and an understanding of construction painting techniques. The Painter will work closely with clients to ensure their vision is realized while providing exceptional customer service throughout the project.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics and project plans to determine the appropriate materials and methods for each job.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Utilize caulking techniques to seal gaps and ensure a smooth finish.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of each project.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting, including both commercial and residential projects.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and painting equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of drywall installation and repair is preferred.
- Ability to read schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $38.00-$48.00 per hour
