Woodbine Racetrack
Woodbine Racetrack opens on April 18 and runs until December 13. Shifts on Thursdays start at 10:30 and 3:00pm while shifts on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays start at 8:30 am and 1:00pm. We are currently looking for people to work the Saturday and/or Sunday shifts.
Training will be provided. Excellent compensation.
Duties
- Collect blood samples from horses and/or administer IV medication
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure chain-of-custody of samples
- Complete official documentation and records
Skills/Experience
- Registered Veterinary Technician
- Experience working with horses
- Equine phlebotomy an asset
- Proficient in phlebotomy
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
