The People & Culture Coordinator provides administrative and coordination support across a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and HR programs. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient HR processes, maintaining accurate data, and supporting a positive employee experience across the full employee lifecycle.
Job Description
The People & Culture Coordinator plays an integral role in supporting the People & Culture team by executing core HR administrative processes and coordinating programs that contribute to an engaging, compliant, and efficient workplace. This role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and a strong customer-service mindset to support employees and leaders across the organization. The Coordinator ensures accurate record-keeping, supports recruitment and onboarding activities, and contributes to HR initiatives that enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities
The position’s responsibilities will generally include:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems
- Supporting recruitment processes, including job postings, interview scheduling, and pre-employment activities
- Coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes, documentation, and orientation sessions
- Coordinating training initiatives and supporting with performance management cycles
- Assisting with employee engagement initiatives, communications, and events
- Serving as the first point of contact for routine HR inquiries and
- escalating complex matters as needed

Qualifications
- Certificate or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. CHRP designation (completed or in progress) is considered an asset
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR support or administrative support role working with sensitive and/or confidential information
- Strong organizational and time management skills with high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office tools
Compensation
The starting hourly range is between $27 - $32 and will be commensurate with experience.
