Help Us Turn Marketing Priorities Into Finished Work
Good ideas are not the problem. Getting the right work planned, produced, out the door, and in a timely manner is.
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who can run campaigns, lead a small team and contribute directly when needed.
Celayix helps organizations manage complex shift-based work. Our platform supports scheduling, time and attendance, employee communication and workforce operations in industries such as security, healthcare, hospitality and live events.
We have an established product, long-standing customers and a marketing team with experience in content, operations and coordination. We now need someone who can bring the work together, help the team focus and keep it moving.
This is a hands-on management role. You will turn the company’s marketing priorities into clear plans and completed programs while supporting and developing a team of three.
You will not be expected to set Celayix’s company-wide go-to-market strategy or act as a one-person marketing department.
You will report to our CEO and work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product and Engineering.
This Role Is for You If You…
- Know how to turn a business priority into a clear campaign plan.
- Enjoy helping and motivating people to focus, improve and do their best work.
- Work well in a team and with delegation.
- Like getting work finished.
- Can keep several projects moving without creating unnecessary process.
- Understand positioning and messaging well enough to apply them consistently.
- Can work closely with Sales and support real buyer conversations.
- Use AI to improve speed and quality without handing over your judgment.
- Care about useful work and qualified opportunities over metrics.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a team consisting of a Senior Content Marketing Strategist, Marketing Operations Specialist and Marketing Coordinator.
- Set clear priorities, assign work, hold regular one-to-ones, provide useful feedback and support each team member’s development.
- Turn quarterly priorities into campaign plans, briefs and timelines, then lead the team’s work through completion.
- Plan and coordinate campaigns for priority industries, with an immediate focus on security.
- Apply Celayix’s positioning and messaging across campaigns, buyer content, sales materials and priority website pages.
- Work with Sales on campaign planning, follow-up, sales enablement and feedback.
- Work with Product and Customer Success to turn product knowledge, customer needs and market evidence into useful buyer content.
- Support a limited number of trade show events, including promotion, materials and follow-up.
- Work with the Marketing Operations Specialist to track campaign performance, maintain reporting and recommend what to continue, change or stop.
- Use AI and other tools to support research, first drafts, campaign development, quality control and repetitive work.
- Contribute directly when needed, whether that means improving a brief, reviewing copy, updating a campaign plan or helping prepare a sales asset.
What Success Looks Like
- The marketing team has clear priorities, roles and expectations.
- Team members receive useful direction, feedback and support.
- Campaigns get completed more consistently and with fewer missed handoffs.
- Marketing and Sales work together more effectively.
- Celayix develops a repeatable campaign approach for priority industries.
- Buyer content and customer proof improve in the security market.
Who You Are
- You have six or more years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, enterprise software or another complex technology market.
- You have experience directly managing employees, including setting priorities, giving feedback and supporting their development.
- You know how to hold people accountable without micromanaging them.
- You have taken campaigns from planning through execution and review.
- You understand positioning, content, campaigns and sales enablement well enough to guide specialists and connect their work.
- You have worked closely with Sales and understand how Marketing supports buyer conversations and qualified opportunities.
- You are comfortable using HubSpot, Google Analytics, WordPress and common marketing tools.
- You use AI thoughtfully and check the quality and accuracy of the work.
- You are comfortable working in a smaller company where leaders stay close to the work.
Experience in security, healthcare, hospitality, field service or other shift-based industries would help, but it is not required.
What We Offer
- An established three-person marketing team to lead and develop.
- A direct working relationship with the CEO.
- A hands-on role that combines people management with campaign leadership.
- Hybrid work for Vancouver-area employees and remote work for candidates elsewhere in Canada.
- Base salary of $90,000–$110,000 CAD, based on experience.
- Extended health, dental and vision care.
- Paid vacation and time off.
- Life and disability insurance.
- Support for learning and professional development.
- Access to contractors and outside specialists when approved.
