Job description:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Forklift Operator for one of our clients.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Position: Forklift Operator
Shift Timing: Morning : 7:00 AM TO 3:30 PM
Afternoon: 3:30 pm to 11 pm
**Must have a license for Raymond Reach and Order Picker**
Job Responsibilities:
- Pulls and prepares product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded
- Loads, unloads, moves, stacks and stages products and materials using a forklift, clamp truck or other power equipment
- Maintains equipment by keeping it clean and safe, reporting service requests as needed
- Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse by conducting operations in a manner which promotes safety
- Efficiently moves and loads product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers
- Assist in distribution centre/warehouse clean-up as required
- Other duties as required and assigned by supervisor
Job Requirement:
- Necessary skills for verbal and written communication in English
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting, up to/including 50 lbs.
- Must have valid licenses and experience in Stand-up Counterbalance, Reach & Walkie
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn and take ownership
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and organize in a rapidly changing environment
- Display a positive and proactive attitude
- Necessary skills for working in a team environment and strong Leadership Skills
- Work in and promote a safe environment
