Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Operator to join our team. This role involves operating tow trucks to assist with private property tow enforcement services. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, computer literate, completing reports and experience with commercial driving. Duties
- Operate tow trucks to recover, transport, and deliver vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of tow truck equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with vehicles or equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs of all services performed, vehicle movements and complete tow notification reports.
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate services.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations.
- Utilize forklift or other machinery as needed for loading or unloading vehicles or equipment.Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Mechanical knowledge related tow truck operation.
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
- Prior experience in tow truck operation is preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks as required by the role. This position requires a dedicated individual committed to safety, reliability, and excellent service delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: From $39,416.16 per year
