Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Duties
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring
- Cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food prep stations and cooking equipment
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure health standards are met
- Assist in plating dishes for service, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations
- Adhere to all restaurant policies regarding serving, food handling, and sanitation
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food handling regulations is a plus
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food presentation standards will be advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
