Job description:
Specific responsibilities include using a POS system, answering customer questions, and potentially stocking items.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
- Customer Service:Greeting customers, taking orders, and providing friendly and helpful service is crucial.
- Order Taking and Processing:Using a POS system to enter orders accurately, processing payments (cash, credit, debit), and issuing receipts are essential tasks.
- Product Knowledge:Understanding the menu, new items, and promotions is important for making recommendations and answering customer questions.
- Cleanliness and Organization:Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area and contributing to the overall cleanliness of the restaurant is expected.
- Teamwork:Working as part of a team to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Flexibility:Being able to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.
- Basic Math Skills:Accurately calculating bills and making change.
- Food Safety and Sanitation:Adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
