Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, engaging students in meaningful activities, and fostering their academic and social development. This role involves working closely with children of various ages, supporting their growth through tailored instruction and nurturing guidance. The Teacher will also contribute to curriculum planning and classroom management to ensure a safe and stimulating educational experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons that align with curriculum standards
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey
- Incorporate tutoring techniques to assist students needing additional help
- Engage in activities that promote social skills, creativity, and critical thinking
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop educational materials and improve teaching strategies
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Support students' emotional well-being and work with parents or guardians as needed
- Prepare nutritious snacks or meals when applicable, supporting early childhood development needs
Requirements
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong skills in tutoring and teaching diverse learners
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, parents, and team members
- Classroom experience demonstrating effective management and organization skills
- Ability to foster a positive, nurturing environment conducive to learning and growth

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.70-$29.15 per hour
