Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pizza Cook cum Cashier to join our vibrant Pizza Pizza restaurant team. This dual-role position involves preparing delicious pizzas and other food items while providing excellent customer service at the cashier station. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, a friendly demeanor, and experience in food service environments. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in the food industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas and other menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, and plating dishes efficiently and safely
- Operate the cash register, process customer orders accurately, and handle cash transactions with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Assist in cleaning kitchen equipment and dining areas at the end of each shift
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards is advantageous
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and register operation
