Delivery Driver
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking up and transporting goods safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism. Applicants must be able to lift 50lbs regularly.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated locations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or overhead crane when necessary
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
- Collect payments from customers when required
- Inspect vehicles regularly for maintenance needs and report any issues
- Assist with the loading and securing of freight to prevent damage during transit
- Communicate effectively with counter staff and customers regarding delivery times and issues
- Assist with shipping/receiving
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveriesRequirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks regularly
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
