What You’ll Bring to the Guest Experience
As a Server at Nisi, you are responsible for creating a seamless and elevated journey from the first greet to the final goodbye.
Guest Connection & Service
- Welcome every guest with warmth, confidence, and genuine hospitality
- Make each table feel personally cared for from arrival to departure
- Build rapport through authentic conversation and thoughtful recommendations
- Share menu features, seasonal changes, and signature dishes with excitement
- Guide guests through food, wine, beer, and cocktail pairings
- Create memorable moments for celebrations, regulars, and first-time guests
- Anticipate needs before they are asked
Menu & Product Knowledge
- Confidently speak to all menu ingredients, preparation methods, and portion sizes
- Tell the story behind our dishes, Greek traditions, and signature offerings
- Demonstrate detailed knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and pairings
- Assist guests with allergies, dietary preferences, and special requests
Operational Excellence
- Enter all food and beverage orders into the POS with 100% accuracy
- Deliver food and drinks efficiently while maintaining polished table presence
- Monitor guest satisfaction through thoughtful table touches
- Resolve requests and concerns quickly with professionalism and care
- Process bills and payments accurately and efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized service stations and dining areas
- Complete opening, running, and closing side work to standard
Teamwork & Floor Support
- Support fellow servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff as needed
- Help with table resets, water service, and pre-bussing
- Contribute to smooth shift flow and strong team energy
- Step into different roles when needed to support guest experience

Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, food service, or hospitality experience is preferred
- Experience with POS systems such as Clover POS or similar is an asset
- Basic cash handling and math skills
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service
- Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to safely carry trays up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
