Full-Time Invoice Clerk
MedCare Health System is the parent company of MedCare Clinics, a network of walk-in clinics and family practices. We are currently looking for a full-time Invoice Clerk to join our team.
This is a hybrid position that is primarily remote, with occasional visits to our Niagara Falls clinic required for meetings and the pickup or drop-off of company documents.
The ideal candidate will have experience in an accounting, finance, or administrative billing role. Candidates must have experience using QuickBooks and Accuro EMR and be comfortable managing a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency.

Invoice Clerk Duties
- Create and process invoices using QuickBooks.
- Review invoices for accuracy and ensure they are processed in a timely manner.
- Reconcile invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and manage accounts receivable.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding billing questions, discrepancies, and overdue payments.
- Enter and update billing and patient-related information within QuickBooks and Accuro EMR.
- Calculate, process, and record payments accurately.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, receipts, and supporting documentation.
- Generate invoice, payment, and accounts receivable reports.
- Assist with the pickup and drop-off of company documents, as required.
- Attend occasional in-person meetings at our Niagara Falls clinic.
- Perform additional administrative and financial duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience in an accounting, finance, invoicing, bookkeeping, or related administrative role.
- Previous experience using QuickBooks is required.
- Previous experience using Accuro EMR is required.
- Strong accounting, invoicing, and reconciliation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and clerical skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of invoices and meet deadlines.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential financial and patient-related information professionally.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to occasionally travel to our Niagara Falls clinic.
Position Details
