Overview
Trust Contracting Company Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our construction management team in assisting with Interior Hotel Renovation Projects. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring site safety, coordinating between teams, and maintaining project timelines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects and utilize advanced construction management skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise sites, handle the workforce, and manage site-scheduling.
- Manage inventory of construction materials.
- Coordinate with the contractor to facilitate smooth communication and workflow.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to support project planning and execution.
- Track project progress and update schedules regularly to reflect current status
- Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines through effective time management
- Travel to sites in multiple locations and stay overnight (accommodation will be provided).
Experience
- Proven experience in construction project coordination or management roles
- Must possess a valid, fully licensed Ontario Class G driver's license in good standing.
- Experience with construction scheduling, planning, and resource management
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Knowledge of construction industry standards and best practices in project management
- Prior experience working on civil or commercial construction projects is preferred
