Verka Food International Ltd. is looking for a motivated and reliable Bakery Production Associate to join our growing bakery team. We are seeking someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and previous bakery experience who thrives in a fast-paced production environment.
This role requires working on your feet for the entire shift while assisting with cookie production, packaging, and other bakery operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily production of cookies and other bakery products.
- Package cookies quickly, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow recipes, production procedures, and supervisor instructions.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain workstations throughout the shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily production targets.
- Perform other bakery production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a bakery or food production environment is preferred.
- Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Quick hands and attention to detail for packaging and production tasks.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 20 kg (44 lbs) as required.

Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday to Friday (weekend availability may be required based on production needs)
Pay: $18.25-$19.50 per hour
