Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, especially for technology-related items
- Provide knowledgeable guidance on merchandise, including merchandising and POS transactions
- Handle cash, process payments accurately, and manage cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain organized displays and ensure the retail space is clean and inviting
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
- Communicate clearly with customers using excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and basic merchandising tasks
- Stay informed about new products, promotions, and store policies to provide accurate information
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or technical sales preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for transactions
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail in a retail setting
- Ability to perform product demos effectively, especially for technology or specialized merchandise
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse customers
- Experience in upselling, merchandising, and maintaining store presentation standards is desirable
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed
Pay: $15.65-$26.04 per hour
