Job Description
This position handles safety rewards, citations, inspection reports, invoices, cover letters for accidents, and driving records. The incumbent performs general administrative tasks using various database systems. This position also performs other duties as assigned.
Position Type: Full-time / Permanent
Work Days: Monday to Friday (must be available to work all 5 days of the week)*
- – 4 days in the office and 1 day work from home
Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week)
Work Duration: 8 hours per day (requires flexibility for start and end times)
Work Location: 1221 32ND AVENUE LACHINE, QC H8T 3H2 Canada
Compensation: $19.15 CAD
Responsibilities:
Administration of injury claims (CNESST / Alberta, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador)
Processing payments - CNESST(Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail in Quebec)
Calculation and reporting of earnings
Data and report management
Support for the G-SHRMIS* database for injury reporting (*Internal UPS system used for Global Safety, Health, Risk Management)
Preparation of monthly reports
Responding to general inquiries and other assigned administrative tasks
HOIR* reports (*Hours of Injury Report)
Case management, coverage for the specialist
Qualifications:
Bilingualism required: French and English (written and spoken). Strong verbal and written communication skills in French are essential. The role involves regular interactions with clients outside of Quebec (50%). - Required
Excellent computer skills, MS Word, Excel - Required
Attention to detail
Time management and the ability to prioritize
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Strong interpersonal skills, customer service
Ability to analyze data and solve problems
Knowledge of WCB / CNESST policy/legislation is an asset
