Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Serves cocktails in a friendly, courteous and knowledgeable manner.
- Is up to date with current trends and classics for all liquor, cocktails, beers and wines.
- Uses appropriate glassware and garnishes.
- Informs management of results, guests' impressions and complaints etc., affecting the guest or the general hotel operation.
- Maintains a clean working environment.
- Completes daily checklists, nightly inventories, and orders.
Requirements & Specialized Skills:
- Professional hotel-suited appearance and attire.
- Confident, trustworthy, organized, service orientated and a good team player.
- Great communicator.
- Functions well under stress.
- Able to understand and to carry out any guest requests effectively and with courtesy.
- Take and receive direction from Manager or Supervisor.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to work independently.
- Up to date with Smart Serve & LLBO regulations.
Education & Certification:
- Completed high school.
- Current Smart Serve Certification.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Mixology course an asset.
- Minimum 3-5years of bartending experience.
Job Types: Permanent, Part-time
Pay: $17.60 per hour
