In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining security protocols across the premises, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding swiftly to any incidents. Must have a valid Security Worker License.
Duties
- Guest management
- Monitor all entry points and common areas to control access for guests, staff, vendors, and visitors
- Check ID's
- Perform routine patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards
- Respond promptly to security incidents or disturbances, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious activity and preventing theft or vandalism
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records with accuracy and professionalism
- Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and legal regulations
Skills
- Strong background in law enforcement or security operations with relevant experience preferred
- Proficiency in surveillance techniques and CCTV system management
- Knowledge of loss prevention methods to protect assets effectively
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while handling challenging situations decisively
- Excellent observational skills combined with attention to detail during patrols and inspections
- Effective communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and emergency personnel
