About the Role:
Shaganappi GM is seeking a reliable, hands-on Building Maintenance Person to keep our dealership facilities and grounds safe, clean, and in top condition. This role is essential to ensuring a great customer experience and a productive environment for our team.
What You’ll Do:
General Maintenance:
· Perform minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, and fixtures.
· Inspect the facility regularly and address maintenance needs.
· Assist with dealership displays, signage, and customer areas.
Preventive Maintenance & Repair Coordination:
· Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule.
· Coordinate and book trades for specialized repairs.
· Monitor contractor performance and verify work quality.
Vendor & Cost Analysis:
· Track repair costs and turnaround times.
· Analyze vendor performance for cost-effectiveness and reliability.
· Maintain records and recommend improvements.
Groundskeeping:
· Snow removal and ice control for safety.
· Lawn care and landscaping to maintain a professional appearance.
Custodial Duties:
· Keep common areas, restrooms, and service bays clean.
· Empty trash and recycling bins regularly.
Safety & Compliance:
· Follow all safety protocols and report hazards promptly.
· Ensure compliance with building codes and environmental regulations.
What We’re Looking For
· Previous experience in building maintenance, custodial work, or groundskeeping preferred.
· Ability to operate snow removal and lawn care equipment.
· Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage schedules.
· Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
