Ong Ba is a new restaurant opening in Coquitlam, offering a modern take on Vietnamese cuisine and hospitality. We focus on vibrant energy, warm service, and creating a welcoming and memorable guest experience from the moment guests arrive.
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Host / Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. This role sets the tone for the entire dining experience and plays a key part in the success of our opening team.

Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism

Manage reservations and waitlists (phone, walk-ins, and online systems)

Coordinate seating to ensure smooth service flow

Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and management

Answer guest inquiries about menu, hours, and restaurant information

Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area

Assist with guest recovery and special requests when needed

Assist with online ordering, delivery and food Pick-up

Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Organized, calm, and able to multitask in a busy environment

Professional appearance and positive attitude

Experience with reservation systems (OpenTable or similar) is an asset
