Key Responsibilities
As a Retail Sales & Rehab Specialist, you will:
- Welcome customers and provide an exceptional in-store experience.
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate mobility, rehabilitation, accessibility, and home healthcare products.
- Educate customers, caregivers, and family members on product features, benefits, and proper use.
- Assist with product demonstrations, fittings, and equipment selection.
- Process sales, rentals, exchanges, and customer orders accurately.
- Receive inventory, merchandise products, and maintain an organized showroom.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and community partners when appropriate.
- Continuously expand your product knowledge through training and professional development.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace focused on delivering outstanding customer care.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum two years of retail sales and customer service experience.
- Minimum two years of experience in the medical, healthcare, or rehab industry (e.g., physio, nursing, medical sales, pharmacy, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused.
- Comfortable learning technical products and explaining them clearly to customers.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience selling medical supplies, mobility equipment, rehabilitation products, or home healthcare equipment.
- Knowledge of wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, lift chairs, bathroom safety products, compression therapy, or daily living aids.
- Experience working with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, long-term care facilities, or other healthcare professionals.
- Experience with inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
- Previous leadership, keyholder, shift lead, assistant manager, or supervisory experience is considered a strong asset.
