Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, the Quality Control and Safety Administrator will be responsible for supporting product quality, safety compliance, and daily operational coordination within the facility. This role performs routine quality testing and inspections, ensures incoming and outgoing products meet established standards, maintains safety and quality documentation, and provides administrative and hands‑on support to production and maintenance teams.
This is a non‑supervisory, hands‑on role combining quality control, safety administration, shipping/receiving support, and maintenance coordination.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform quality testing at required interval
- Identify, document and report product non conformances
- Support site safety programs and procedures
- Maintain safety documentation, training records, and inspection checklists
- Assist with safety audits, inspections, and corrective action tracking
- Promote safe work practices and compliance with company policies
- Ensure incoming and outgoing product meets or exceeds quality standard
- Support and assist production/maintenance staff as needed
- Receive incoming product, verify documentation accuracy, and inspect loads for defects or damage
- Create and provide out going documentation of shipments
- Create and manage maintenance work orders
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
- College diploma or certificate in Quality Assurance or Occupational Health & Safety highly preferred
Knowledge and Competencies
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, or operations support role.
- Basic understanding of quality control principles and safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge in basic computer programs
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must wear all required PPE as per production requirements including safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes etc.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and team assist lifting where required
- Frequent changes in temperature depending on the movements inside the plant
- Exposure to dusty environments
