Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafting/CAD Technician to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and models using industry-standard CAD software(Key Creator). This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to construction and infrastructure projects, utilizing advanced drafting skills and software expertise. The position requires a strong understanding of schematics, construction processes, and 2D animation, with a focus on delivering high-quality design documentation.
Duties
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Kubotek Key Creator
- Create accurate models and plans for construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers to interpret design concepts into technical drawings.
- Update and revise existing drawings based on project changes or feedback.
- Assist in preparing presentation materials including 2D animations when necessary.
- Ensure all CAD files are properly organized and maintained for easy access and version control.
- Support project teams by providing drafting expertise during the design development phase.
Experience
- Proven experience in CAD drafting within the construction or civil engineering industries.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD is required; experience with Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and 2D animation tools is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of schematics, construction documentation, and technical drafting standards.
- Familiarity with CAD software workflows in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently. Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
