We are looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our growing team in the Edmonton area. This is a great opportunity for a skilled electrician who is ready to take the lead on projects and help manage electrical crews from start to finish.
Our work includes a mix of commercial projects and multi-family developments, providing a varied workload and the opportunity to work on larger, more complex installations.
The successful candidate will be a strong electrician and leader who can coordinate crews, keep projects moving, maintain quality standards, and work effectively with other trades and project management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial and multi-family projects
- Coordinate daily electrical activities and ensure work is completed efficiently
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, specifications, and layouts
- Install, troubleshoot, and inspect electrical systems
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades
- Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard
- Monitor materials, tools, and equipment required for projects
- Help plan manpower and daily work activities
- Identify and resolve field issues and coordinate solutions
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and project specifications
- Provide leadership, direction, and training to apprentices and other crew members
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician certification is required
- Previous electrical foreman or lead-hand experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations
- Experience with multi-family construction
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to work independently while effectively leading a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
