Summary:
PaperWorks is currently seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to work on a full-time, permanent basis out of our facility at 120 Trillium Drive in Kitchener, Ontario.
We offer a competitive compensation package which includes health & dental benefits and disability benefits, as well as a group pension program. Starting hourly pay rate of $40.25-$43.19, plus shift premiums and a discretionary bonus program.

Responsibilities:
- Work as a member of the Maintenance team to complete scheduled PM’s in a timely manner, and make recommendations for continuous improvement of our PM program and the equipment

Respond to breakdowns with a sense of urgency.

Troubleshoot controls and electrical equipment, and make the necessary adjustments to bring equipment up to running status.

Create/develop and program PLC's (software) as required.
- Complete detailed work logs for all repairs, to help our predictive maintenance process.

Understand and apply the Electrical Safety Code at all times

Provide guidance and training to apprentices and junior tradespersons

Other duties as required.

Will be working a rotating, 12 hour continental shift schedule (2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights)
Qualifications:
- Licensed 442A or 309A Electrician with strong working knowledge of the Electrical Safety Code

Strong working experience with PLC programming.

Capable to inspect, test, and repair electronic boards.
