The Opportunity
A well-established OEM dealership in the South Western, Ontario Tri-City region is currently seeking a strategic, results-driven General Manager to lead its dealership group.
This is a search for a high-performing leader capable of driving operational excellence, maximizing profitability, and fostering a culture of high performance across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Oversee all daily dealership operations, aligning department heads with corporate objectives, revenue targets, and customer satisfaction (CSX) goals.
- Financial Management: Manage P&L statements, inventory turn rates, expense control, and capital allocation to ensure robust bottom-line growth.
- Sales & Service Excellence: Drive volume and gross profit in both new/used vehicle sales and fixed operations (Parts & Service).
- Team Development: Mentor, recruit, and retain top-tier management talent, building a cohesive and motivated workforce.
- Compliance & Relations: Maintain strict adherence to manufacturer (OEM) standards, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this exclusive appointment, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of proven experience as a General Manager within an automotive dealership environment.
- Licensing: Valid and active OMVIC license in good standing.
- Driving: Valid full G Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
- Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting/exceeding OEM targets, managing multi-departmental operations, and driving profitability.
- Skills: Exceptional financial acumen, strong leadership presence, and deep familiarity with modern dealership management systems (DMS).
