Responsibilities/Qualifications
- Report to the lead installation for assignments.
- Fabricate, layout, and install ductwork for various systems on new construction projects.
- Read and interpret various types of drawings, including mechanical, architectural, and structural.
- Follow safety protocol and comply with safety and occupational standards.
- Install ducting and equipment according to the diagrams and directions from the Supervisor.
- Carry out HVAC installations, which include ducting, fasteners on hangers, ducts, and insulation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Anchor and hook-up HVAC machinery such as air handling units, fans, ventilation equipment, etc.
- Assist in verifying that the HVAC installation is functioning.
- Respect company policies.
- Communicate and interact with others respectfully and appropriately in all situations.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Experience in plumbing is an asset to assist with the other division if required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour
