Forklift Operator- Counterbalance Electric withClamp experience (Temp to Perm)

What You Will Be Doing, as a Forklift Operator:
● Movement, protection, storage and control of materials and products throughout manufacturing, warehousing, distribution
● Print/Read Picking slips from the system
● Pulls and verifies materials and supplies on production orders.
● Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position including regular lifting and carrying 5-23 kgs.
● Will require 50% driving time and 50% general labour
● Must be able and licensed to drive a forklift counterbalance with electric experience and changing batteries
● experience with Clamp attachment (an asset) moving crates of Motorcycles and ATV's
● Other duties as assigned
What You Should Have, as a Forklift Operator:
● Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ similar experience in a similar environment
● Must have experience moving heavy equipment on a forklift
● Must have a valid third-party forklift license for Counterbalance Electric
● Must have experience with the clamp truck attachment
● Must have CSA safety boots/shoes
In Return, You Will Receive:

● $22.00 per hour + 4% vacation pay
● Paid weekly, every Friday. 1 week behind
● Opportunity for permanent hire - please only accept if you are looking for long term as this assignment is only for those looking for permanent
● Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends
The Shift You Will Be Working is:
● Day shift – Monday to Friday
● 7:30am to 4:00pm (flexibility is required based on needs)
● ½ hour lunch (unpaid) & 2 x 15-minute breaks (paid)
● overtime as needed

● Not bus accessible
