Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a thorough understanding of construction management practices. This role involves supervising on-site activities, ensuring project quality, maintaining safety standards, and managing project timelines and budgets. The Construction Supervisor will play a vital role in delivering high-quality construction projects efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring work is completed according to project plans and specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth workflow
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction processes
- Oversee budgeting processes, track expenses, and manage resources effectively
- Enforce safety protocols on-site to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction management practices
- Knowledge of sewer and watermain installations
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations within the construction sector
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and resource allocation in construction projects
- Construction-related certifications or licenses are preferred but not mandatoryThis position offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead impactful projects while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every stage of construction.
Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
