We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chinese Chef specializing in Guyanese/Caribean-Chinese cuisine to join our growing restaurant team.
Position: Full-Time Chinese Chef
Location: St. Clair Ave East & Kennedy Rd, Scarborough
About the Role:
We’re looking for a chef who understands the unique fusion of traditional Chinese cooking with Guyanese flavors. You’ll play a key role in developing authentic dishes, maintaining consistency, and delivering high-quality meals that reflect our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook authentic Guyanese-Chinese dishes
Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
Assist with menu development and daily specials
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards are met
Manage inventory and food prep efficiently
Requirements:
Proven experience cooking Chinese or Guyanese-Chinese cuisine
Strong knowledge of traditional techniques, sauces, and flavors
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Reliable, team-oriented, and passionate about food
Food Handler Certification (preferred)
