We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our rotary wing maintenance team based at Halifax International Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic helicopter maintenance environment supporting a diverse fleet and operation.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on rotary wing aircraft in accordance with Transport Canada regulations and company procedures
- Carry out inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and component replacements
- Complete technical records and maintenance documentation accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all work is performed to the highest safety and quality standards
- Support aircraft availability and operational readiness
- Work collaboratively with flight crews, maintenance personnel, and management
Qualifications
- Valid Transport Canada AME licence (M1/M2 as applicable)
- Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
Preferred Experience / Endorsements
Preference will be given to applicants with experience and/or endorsements on:
- Sikorsky S-76
- Airbus AS350 / AS355
- Bell 206 series helicopters
