Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Assist the orthodontist during various procedures
- Take dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary.
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order materials as needed.
- Do impressions and itero scans
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to medical terminology standards during clinical procedures.
Skills
- Familiarity with dental terminology
- Ability to operate CAD systems for digital imaging and diagnostics.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in dental assisting is required; additional training in orthodontics is advantageous.
