Full-Time Live-In Caregiver - Senior Care in Toronto
Compensation: $22/hour Schedule: Full-time, live-in Start: Immediate
About the Role
We're looking for a warm, experienced, and reliable live-in caregiver to support a father in a loving family home. He has some mobility limitations and benefits from cognitive support, so patience, consistency, and genuine care matter more to us than credentials alone — though relevant experience is a strong asset. This is a long-term role for the right person, with a stable, respectful household and a family that values the people who work with them.
What You'll Do
- Provide personal care and support with daily routines
- Assist with mobility and help prevent falls
- Offer companionship and gentle cognitive engagement throughout the day
- Support meal preparation and medication reminders
- Light housekeeping related to his living space
What We're Looking For
- Experience caring for older adults, ideally with mobility and/or cognitive support needs
- PSW certification or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
- Genuine warmth, patience, and reliability
- Female caregiver preferred, given the personal care involved
