Overview
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operators and Labourers to join our construction team. The ideal candidates enjoy working outdoors, have a positive attitude and thrive in physically active roles. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy construction equipment such as drill rigs, excavators, backhoes, and skid steers with precision and safety
- Perform a variety of hands-on tasks supporting drilling, sewer and water, excavation and grading crews
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities
- Follow job specifications and safety protocols during operation
- Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project timelines
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to promote a safe work environment
Preference is given to applicants with
- Prior experience in construction or related fields demonstrating familiarity with heavy machinery operations
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- A positive attitude and reliability
- Valid driver’s license. Class 5 required. Class 1 or 3 preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety standards in construction environments
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 60 per week
