This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, takes pride in doing quality work, and wants to grow within the automotive service industry. Prior automotive experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person who is dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn.
Our team provides vehicle inspections, preventative maintenance, fluid services, tire-related services, and other routine automotive maintenance. We focus on delivering professional customer service, consistent workmanship, and a positive experience for every customer.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance services.
- Perform oil change and fluid services, tire services, battery checks, filters, lights, and other automotive maintenance services.
- Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner and help create a positive first impression.
- Communicate clearly with customers about inspection results, service options, and maintenance recommendations.
- Recommend appropriate services and products based on the customer’s vehicle needs, manufacturer guidelines, and company procedures.
- Answer basic customer questions about services, pricing, maintenance intervals, and vehicle care.
- Process customer transactions accurately using a point-of-sale system, including invoices, payments, discounts, and receipts.
- Ensure customers understand the work completed and any recommendations before they leave.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed.
- Keep the work area, shop, tools, equipment, and customer areas clean, safe, and organized.
- Follow company processes, safety standards, customer service expectations, and service procedures.
- Support senior team members and managers with daily shop operations.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment while maintaining quality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Comfortable speaking with customers, making service recommendations, and handling transactions.
- Automotive, mechanical, dealership, tire, retail, or service shop experience is an asset but not required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools.
- Sales or retail experience is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, reaching, and working on your feet.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
