DZ Truck Driver – Seasonal Full-Time

Wage: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour, based on experience
Hours: 30–55 hours per week

Auger & Sons Construction Ltd. is currently looking to hire a reliable and hardworking DZ Truck Driver to join our team for the construction season.
The successful candidate must be dependable, safety-focused, and willing to work in a fast-paced heavy civil construction environment. This position requires flexibility, as work may take place at various job sites and applicants must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
Duties may include:
- Operating DZ trucks safely and efficiently
- Hauling materials, equipment, aggregates, and construction-related supplies
- Completing daily circle checks and maintaining accurate logs
- Assisting with general construction duties when required
- Following company policies, safety procedures, and site-specific requirements
- Working as part of a team with operators, labourers, supervisors, and subcontractors
Requirements:
- Valid DZ driver’s licence
- Minimum 5 years of DZ driving experience
- Clean driver’s abstract required
- Experience driving in construction or heavy civil work is an asset
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work long hours when required
- Ability to work 30–55 hours per week depending on workload and weather
- Must be able to work safely around heavy equipment and active construction sites
