We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven and detail-oriented Team Member, Architecture, responsible for the production of outputs related to the Schematic Design (New Product Design & Marketing Drawings), Detailed Design (Working Drawings & Model Details) and Lot Specific Design (Shop Drawings & Machine Files), all in alignment with the standards set by Caivan | ABIC’s Architecture Leadership Team.

You will Bring
-
University or College Degree in Architecture or Engineering
-
1-2 years’ experience in the Architecture field in a similar role
-
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, PDF editors, and AutoCAD required
-
Experience with CadWork, Rhino and Asana software is an asset
Exceptional Skills Required

Exceptional communication skills: both written and verbal

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to design creative solutions

Attention to detail, organized, and self-motivated

Ability to create, propose and maintain schedules / deadlines

Knowledge of proper window folder structures and ability to follow department file naming protocols
Responsibilities
-
Produce drawings, models and details for the purpose of:
-
New product drawings (sketches, blacklines)
-
Marketing drawings (Brochures, Décors, APS)
-
Model specific details (structural details, MEP drawings)
-
Site release process (Siting, ECPs, Sales Release etc.)
-
Lot Specific files for walls/floors/trusses (3D, 2D, Machine files, Batch-lists)
-
Follow standardized work to produce outputs related to SD, DD and LS
-
Respond to markups and review comments
-
Participate in continuous improvement activities
-
Participate and contribute to quality gates at the different stages required in SD, DD and LS
-
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
-
Report to Leadership the status of Safety, Quality, Output and Cost
-
Code and file invoices related to the SD, DD and LS streams
-
Keep up to date production management systems such as Asana and other visual management systems

Perform any other duties that may be required by the organization
