Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Framer to join our dynamic construction team. As a key contributor to building projects, you will be responsible for creating the structural framework that forms the foundation of residential, commercial, or industrial structures. Your expertise in reading blueprints, working with various hand and power tools, and handling heavy materials will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately construct framing structures.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal, or concrete forms for walls, floors, roofs, and other structural elements.
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to facilitate efficient framing work.
- Work with concrete forming and finishing teams to ensure proper support for poured concrete structures.
- Install siding, drywall, and other exterior or interior finishing components as needed.
- Collaborate with carpenters, welders, and other trades to coordinate project tasks and ensure seamless workflow.
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks daily while maintaining safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or carpentry with a focus on framing projects.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels, levels, and measuring devices.
- Familiarity with power tools including drills, nail guns, sanders, and concrete finishing equipment.
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques and concrete finishing processes.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required for lifting or moving materials.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or working at heights.
- Additional skills such as welding or woodworking are a plus but not mandatory.
