We are a busy, close-knit specialty clinic dedicated to providing excellent, up-to-date care to a large and diverse patient population. We are looking for a reliable, professional, organized, and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to join our team. Full training will be provided. Experience in allergy or immunology is an asset but is not required — the right person with the right qualities is what matters most to us.
Position Details
- Part-time: 2 to 3 days per week
- Day shifts only: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Outpatient specialty allergy and immunology clinic setting
- Annual bonus depends on performance
- Rate 28-30$/hour
What You Will Do
- Administer allergy injections, vaccines, and biologics
- Perform epicutaneous and intradermal skin testing
- Conduct spirometry testing
- Assist in performing provocative challenge procedures
- Reconstitute allergy serums and prepare biologics for administration
- Monitor patients following allergy injections and challenge testing
- Recognize and assist in managing allergic reactions in the clinic
- Organize and maintain medications, serums, and clinical supplies
- Schedule the allergy shots clinic and coordinate patient flow
- Assist with ordering serums for skin testing and other supplies as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, the physician, and team members
- Check vital signs and weight/height
- Document patient interactions clearly and objectively
- Assist with administrative duties as required
- Follow infection control and prevention protocols
Required Qualifications
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in good standing
- Valid and current CPR certification
- Exceptional attention to detail — precision is paramount when administering allergy injections
- Professional, organized, and dependable
- Compassionate and patient-centred approach to care
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Legal authorization to work in Canada; preference given to Canadian citizens and Permanent Residents — other candidates with valid Canadian work authorization will be considered

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
