Location
This role will be hybrid, with in-person work required at one of our SafetyCo locations in Southern Ontario.
Project Overview
The Instructional Designer plays a key role in developing engaging, high-quality learning experiences that help organizations build safer workplaces. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining instructor-led, virtual, and digital training programs that align with adult learning principles, regulatory requirements, and SafetyCo's commitment to delivering exceptional training experiences.
This isn’t a role for someone looking to simply clock in and clock out. We’re looking for people who take ownership, think independently, and have the confidence to make decisions, solve problems, and move things forward without waiting to be told what to do. If you’re energized by building something from the ground up, thrive in an ambitious environment, and want the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.
Why This Role Exists
The Instructional Designer ensures our training programs are engaging, consistent, and effective by creating learning experiences that help people understand, retain, and apply critical health and safety knowledge.
As our training catalogue continues to grow, this role helps modernize learning experiences, maintain content quality, and support instructors with the resources they need to deliver exceptional training.
