Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during overnight hours, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in hospitality or customer service to contribute to a welcoming and efficient environment. Multilingual and bilingual skills are highly valued to assist our diverse guest base. Previous hotel experience and familiarity with front desk operations are preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently while providing friendly and professional customer service
- Manage overnight financial transactions, including billing, invoicing, and cash handling
- Prepare daily reports, reconcile accounts, and ensure accuracy of all financial data
- Address guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction
- Monitor security of the property during overnight hours and report any irregularities
- Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and updating guest records
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest needs are met
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel front desk or guest services is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse guests
- Knowledge of hotel management software or POS systems is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Hospitality or hotel experience is highly desirable but not mandatory
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.55-$17.98 per hour
