Deliverables
-
Lead and coordinate nuclear plant modification projects by performing Modification Team Leader (MTL) and Field Team Leader (FTL) responsibilities in accordance with OPG's Engineering Change Control Process, ensuring safe, compliant, and successful project execution.

Manage the planning, execution, cost, schedule, and field implementation of Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSS) Minor Modifications while providing engineering oversight throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide technical leadership and field support by reviewing engineering designs, approving Field Initiated Changes (FICs), conducting inspections, supporting commissioning activities, and resolving field engineering issues with internal teams and EPC vendors.

Maintain engineering processes, procedures, and technical documentation while providing Engineering Change Control guidance, supporting Project Control Centre (PCC) activities, and driving continuous improvement across field engineering operations.
Experience Required
-
8+ years of engineering and project delivery experience supporting nuclear power generation, industrial facilities, or other highly regulated environments, with direct experience managing engineering modifications.

Proven experience performing Modification Team Leader (MTL), Field Team Leader (FTL), Engineering Change Control (ECC), or equivalent engineering leadership responsibilities supporting plant modifications and field execution.

Strong experience managing project scope, cost, schedule, field execution, engineering reviews, design coordination, inspections, commissioning support, and contractor/vendor management for capital or maintenance projects.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, with strong knowledge of engineering principles, technical documentation, regulatory compliance, and power plant operations.

Excellent communication, technical report writing, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to support Design Leads, EPC vendors, field teams, and project stakeholders while minimizing project risk, cost, and schedule impacts.
