Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision and care, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Assist in food handling and meal preparation to ensure efficiency during busy service times
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper sanitation procedures to uphold health standards
- Serve guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Support inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of stock needs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely meal delivery
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and meal preparation techniques
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff
- Passion for creating delicious dishes and providing outstanding customer service
- Cleaning dishes, food preparation spaces, and commercial food equipment
- Willingness to understand the basics of bingo gaming in order to understand kitchen timing
