Genuine Athletics & Rehabilitation is an award-winning multidisciplinary health and performance clinic committed to providing exceptional care to our community. Our team includes physiotherapists, registered massage therapists, chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, kinesiologists, and personal trainers working together under one roof.
We are currently looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our team on Saturdays.
This position is every Saturday from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM at $20.00/hour.
While this role begins as a Saturday-only position, there may be opportunities for additional weekday coverage shifts and future permanent hours as our clinic continues to grow.
Perfect for someone looking for a consistent part-time position with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts and grow into a larger role over time.
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to email inquiries.
- Schedule, modify, and manage appointments using Jane App.
- Process payments and submit direct billing claims to extended health insurance providers.
- Assist practitioners with basic administrative tasks throughout the day.
- Complete light housekeeping duties including washing and folding clinic laundry.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure every client has a positive experience.
Qualifications Required
- Previous reception or administrative experience in a medical, dental, physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, or allied health clinic.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable learning and using clinic management software (Jane experience is an asset).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Preferred
- Experience with direct billing and ICBC claims.
- Passion for health, wellness, and helping others.
