Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Towing & Recovery Operator to join our team. This role involves providing prompt and professional towing and recovery services to our customers, ensuring their vehicles are handled safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and relevant experience in automotive repair or commercial driving. Responsibilities
- Operate towing and recovery equipment to assist stranded or damaged vehicles
- Safely load, secure, and transport vehicles to designated locations
- Perform basic vehicle assessments and minor repairs as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of all towing equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during recovery operations
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations
- Assist with vehicle inspections and documentation for each job performed
- Utilize forklift or other machinery when necessary for loading or unloading vehicles
Requirements
- Valid class 5 driver’s license mandatory
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques is highly desirable
- Experience operating forklifts or similar machinery is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Prior experience in automotive repair or towing services is advantageous
- Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure situations
Pay: $58,068.39-$107,227.09 per year
