Design and develop custom automated machinery, robotic cells, assembly systems, conveyors, and material handling equipment.
Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using CAD software.
Collaborate with controls, electrical, software, manufacturing, and project management teams throughout all project phases.
Develop machine concepts, layouts, and mechanical designs based on customer requirements and manufacturing processes.
Perform engineering calculations, component selection, tolerance analysis, and risk assessments.
Support prototype development, machine builds, testing, commissioning, and installation activities.
Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
Troubleshoot mechanical and system performance issues and implement effective solutions.
Ensure designs comply with safety standards, customer specifications, and applicable industry regulations.
Prepare technical documentation, operating manuals, and engineering change requests.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, performance, and cost reduction.
Provide technical support to customers, production teams, and service personnel as required.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
8 -10 years of experience designing custom automation solutions, including assembly systems, conveyors, robotics integration, and material handling equipment for industrial applications.
Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar 3D modeling platforms.
Strong understanding of machine design, pneumatics, hydraulics, servo systems, and motion control applications.
Experience designing automated manufacturing systems, assembly equipment, or material handling solutions.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and project management abilities.
